The 2012 Scholarship application is now available!
 

Please fill in the different sections of the application.  You will not be able to make changes other than to the areas that are not protected.  On the essays, please use as much room as you need.  The template should allow for such changes.  If not, please e-mail the office at edgarcfb@midwestfirst.com.

 

You will be able to save your work and go back and make any changes.  When you have it completed, please save it, print it, attach your transcripts, sign it and return it to our office no later than March 30, 2012, by 4:00 P.M.  Remember the application must be typed, except for the signature lines.

2011 Scholarship Winners 
 
Congratulations to Kacey Hamilton and Dillon Garver for being the 2011 Edgar County Farm Bureau Foundation Scholarship Winners.
 
Kacey is the $1000.00 scholarship winner.  She is the daughter of Jim and Angie Hamilton of rural Paris.  Kacey has been active in 4-H, FFA, golf, basketball, track, National Honor Society, CAMA Teens, and other community organizations.
 
Kacey will be furthering her education at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville to obtain a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry with a Pre-Medicine Concentration.  Upon the completion of Medical School she would like to become a physician in a rural area.

This year the Edgar County Farm Bureau Foundation decided to award a $500.00 scholarship to a student who was pursuing their degree and returning to college. 
 
Dillon Garver is the recipient of the $500.00 Edgar County Farm Bureau Foundation Scholarship.  Dillon is the son of Phillip and Susan Fox and JR and Patty Garver all of Paris. 
While in High School Dillon was a member of 4-H, FFA, the Spanish Club, as well as worked on the family farm.  Dillon earned a Livestock Judging Scholarship and was a member of the winning team at the National Barrow Show, American Royal Livestock Exposition, and the Dixie National Livestock Show. 
 
Dillon has completed an Associates Degree from Lake Land College and will be pursuing his Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture Business in either Marketing or Management.  He will be transferring this fall to the University of Illinois.
