What is Ag in the Classroom?
It's a nation wide program that informs kids, educators, parents and the general public about the importance of agriculture.  It offers them a way to see and learn how agriculture is a major part of their daily lives.

Edgar County Farm Bureau AG in the Classroom
This past fall students in various classes in Edgar county were welcomed with numerous hands on activities and lesson plans that delt with Agricutlure.  Mrs. Sarah Reedy taught about Pumpkins, Apples and Corn during the fall 2010 season.  In January 2011 she will be teaching about Beef.  The students range from Pre-K to 8th grade.
Teaching kids about Agriculture is a huge oppurtunity to really inform them of what Agriculture is all about.
